Ashoak Heading for KSP Key Position:Cinejwala:

The veteran Kannada actor Ashok with not much of cultivation in the literary field is hoping to contest the elections to the Kannada Sahitya Parishat President post.

Ashok known as actor, heading the Kannada Cinema Workers Federation, frequently in to farmer’s issues and strong fighter for injustice to Kannada language is hoping for getting elected to KSP.

I am not a literary personality. My main motto is to build up the Kannada cinema industry with vast contents of Kannada literature. As no one is interested in building up the gap I thought of contesting the elections of Kannada Sahitya Parishat says Ashok.

The Kannada Sahitya Parishat turns 100 years by 2015. The Kannada cinema industry joins this activity it would be fantastic says Ashok.

Ashok clearing the doubts of the media people said he has chalked out several other programs to build up the Kannada Sahitya Parishat as an ardent Kannadiga.

For the place of present President of Kannada Sahitya Parishat Nallur Prasad actor Ashok is contesting. In case persons like Prof Baraguru Ramachandra (he is from cinema and literature a very strong contender), MM Kalburgi, M Chidananda Murthy and LS Seshagiri Rao contest for the President of KSP I would withdraw my nomination says Ashok.
