Action feast for kannada audience this week:Cinejwala:

The only release of this week – Friday 25th November, 2011 is ‘Jarasandha’ – an action packed high voltage movie starring Dhuniya Vijay and beautiful Pranitha is an issue based film according to director Shashank.

A highly talkative and intelligent director Shashank for the first time in his film career of five years has taken up action film. Shashank’s earlier three films – ‘Sixer, Moggina Manasu and Krishnan Love Story’ were soft in nature and beautiful in contents.

With action hero Vijay as lead actor director Shashank has also taken up a universal theme for his film and says ‘A story never told before’ as caption for ‘Jarasandha’.

‘Jarasandha’ is Rs. 6 crores venture and producers duo Gangadhar and Basavaraj have already earned the investment from marketing of the film. It is a good sign and box office result is awaited.

‘Jarasandha’ is a character of the Mahabharatha.  According to director Shashank in this issue based cinema he is touching on one particular aspect of the society that is a hindrance and sickening. At the dangers steep places of Challakudy actions portions have been shot for this film by cameraman Shekar Chandru.

A few of the songs especially Neerig Baare Channi…is already popular in the scorings of Arjun Janya. The sale of audio in the market is quite impressive says Arjun Janya.

Roopa Devi yesteryears heroine who was last noticed in ‘Ganga Cauvery’ Kannada cinema is back in this film. Devaraj, JK, Rangayana Raghu, Chetan, Swayamvara Chandru and others are in the cast.

Harsha has done the choreography, Ravi Verma has handled the stunts, Mohan B Kere is art director and Sri has edited the film.
